East Coast Chair & Barstool offers the following warranties on our products valid from the date of shipping for the designated duration. Indoor items are warrantied for indoor use only, which means a temperature and humidity controlled environment. Open air spaces under a roof are not considered indoors. Outdoor items are warrantied for outdoor use only. Indoor/outdoor items are warrantied for one (1) year. These warranties are valid to the original purchaser only. Furniture and other materials not manufactured by East Coast Chair & Barstool are covered solely by the manufacturer’s warranty, if any.
Indoor Metal Bar Stools and Chairs
Metal bar stools and chairs have a five (5) year limited warranty on their frame. This warranty covers manufacturer and material defect. Vinyl, wood, and rustic wood seat options have a one (1) year limited warranty. This warranty does not cover unique natural characteristics of the wood like wormholes and small cracks.
Imported swivel mechanisms carry no warranty, domestic swivel mechanisms carry a five (5) year limited warranty.
Indoor Wood Bar Stools and Chairs
Wood bar stools and chairs have a one (1) year limited warranty on their frame. This warranty covers manufacturer and material defect.. Vinyl and wood seat options have a one (1) year limited warranty.
Indoor Bucket Bar Stools
Bucket bar stools have a five (5) year limited warranty on their frame. 525, 625, and premium buckets have a one (1) year limited warranty. This warranty covers manufacturer and material defect.
Imported swivel mechanisms carry no warranty, domestic swivel mechanisms carry a five (5) year limited warranty.
Indoor Restaurant Booth Seating
Restaurant booths have a one (1) year structural warranty. Vinyl has a one (1) year limited warranty. This warranty covers manufacturer and material defect.
Indoor Table Tops
All solid wood table tops have a one (1) year limited warranty. This warranty protects against manufacturers’ defects, but does not include natural cracking, gaping, or the individualistic marks of the wood. We are not responsible for damage caused by excess moisture.
Non-wood table tops have a one (1) year limited warranty.
Indoor Table Bases
Table bases have a one (1) year limited warranty on their frame. The reclaimed wood beam base carries a one (1) year limited warranty on manufacturing defects, but does not cover the unique natural characteristics of the wood-like wormholes and small cracks. The turnbuckle base has a one (1) year limited warranty. This warranty covers the structural integrity, finish, and manufacturers' defects, but does not cover natural cracking, gaping, or the individualistic markings on the material.
Indoor Custom Millwork
Reclaimed wood millwork has a one (1) year structural warranty and a one (1) year limited warranty on the wood. Urban distressed wood millwork has a one (1) year warranty. This warranty protects against manufacturers’ defects, but does not include natural cracking, gaping, or the individualistic marks of the wood.
Indoor Lodge Furniture
Lodge furniture has a one (1) year structural warranty on their frame and one (1) year on the fabric. This warranty covers manufacturer and material defect.
Outdoor Aluminum/Steel Items
Outdoor aluminum/steel items has a one (1) year limited warranty. This warranty covers manufacturer and material defect.
Outdoor Poly Lumber Items
Poly lumber products used in commercial establishments have a limited one (1) year warranty. For residential use, poly lumber is warrantied throughout the lifetime of the original purchaser.
East Coast Chair & Barstool does not warranty against, and will not be held liable for, any failure, defect, or damage that results from the following:
- Fading. Our poly lumber products are made with UV inhibitors that slow fading over time. However, all colors will fade to some degree when exposed to direct sunlight. Keeping the chair covered when not in use will reduce the amount of fading and extend the color life.
- Rust or corrosion of the stainless steel hardware.
- Improper assembly of the product.
- Abuse or neglect of the product.
- Misuse of the product, or use in a way that is not intended by East Coast Chair & Barstool.
- Normal wear from regular use of the product.
- Painting or applying any coating not expressly approved by East Coast Chair & Barstool.
- Defects in the product resulting from heat or radiation from an external source like a grill or firepit.
- Defects in the product resulting from the concentration of sunlight onto the product surface such as a window reflecting onto the chair.
Cushions are warrantied to be free of original defects in workmanship and material for a period of one (1) year. Compression of cushions shall not be considered a defect in materials and workmanship and are not covered under this warranty.
Closeout Items
Closeout products are sold as is with no warranty. All items are safe to use in a commercial environments.
